Vintage style art print of the Holestone near Doagh, County Antrim.

Standing approximately 1.5 metre (5ft) tall, this ancient Celtic megalith dates back the the Bronze Age. It's original purpose is unsure, but for centuries it has been used by couples as a symbol of betrothal where typically a lady would pass either a white hankerchief or her hand through the hole to her lover on the other side of the stone. The 10cm (4in) diameter hole has been bored through the stone from both sides and is big enough for a lady's hand but too small for most men's.
